The company was founded in 1972 by four families, Sebasti, Cavanna, Carini, and Tradico who fell in love with Chianti and its traditions. They bought from different owners, little by little, a few crops of land and two very old ( XVIII century) buildings: Villa Pianigiani and Villa Ricucci.

Located in the heart of Chianti Classico, between Radda and Gaiole, with Siena in the distance, the estate extends now for 250 hectares, with 90 hectares of vineyards and 40 hectares of olive groves. Since 1988 it has been run by the second generation, Lorenza Sebasti, solidly supported by wine production specialist Marco Pallanti.

The wines, produced exclusively with grapes from the property, are distinguished by our own style of Chianti Classico, uniting austerity, elegance and richness.
